A Day with the Natives (Again)

After nearly two years, our non-profit organization (in partnership with another NGO) was able to return to Sitio Target Integrated School in Sapang Bato, Angeles City, Pampanga to share a new day of fun, love and care to the Aeta kids of this far-flung community.

It was such a heartwarming moment for us, meeting the kids we've met almost a couple of years ago who were little grown ups now, and of course, having met new ones who were all genuinely appreciative of the simple activities and gifts the whole group has prepared for them.

Fun games, free arts classes, a soup kitchen, and distribution of school supplies for the opening of a new academic year --- all of these comprised the simple outreach activity that remained to leave a great impact in each and every member of our team.

Our organization's name is "Acts of Love Community". It is a non-profit organization founded by Ms. Ves Cuyugan who is now based in Japan. The first members of the team are from Manila, Philippines and upon conduct of the outreach event in Sapang Bato nearly two years ago, the Pampanga Chapter (where I belong) was then established.

Simply Inspiring! (Posted 2019-07-06 19:44:48)

What I love about this image is its simplicity. No need for dramatic scenes and it's not that "heavy" in the eyes. This image tells a good story of kindness without giving me an uncomfortable scene. Please don't get me wrong about what I mean. It's just that for some one like me who has a soft heart especially for kids, it just inspires me more seeing them feel happy amidst the many adversities our world suffers with. Kudos to Envision Kindness for this one great platform. Kudos to Sir Lloyd as well for interpreting this mission well.
